EURO-EMOTUR Hub: A Boost for SMEs in the European Tourism Sector

15 May 2024

The official launch of the EURO-EMOTUR Hub, an innovative initiative that aims to revolutionise the European tourism landscape, took place with great success. The event, organised by the EURO-EMOTUR Consortium, was well attended by SMEs and service providers, who gathered to explore the collaboration opportunities offered by the platform.

A Proactive Approach to Addressing SME Challenges
The EURO-EMOTUR Hub is distinguished by its proactive approach, aimed at specifically addressing the issues and needs identified by SMEs in the tourism sector. This customised strategy will allow participating companies to optimise their operations, improve customer experience and increase their competitiveness in the global market.

A Broad and Ambitious Scope
Aiming to support a total of 100 SMEs from Spain, Italy, Finland, Greece, Lithuania and Portugal, the EURO-EMOTUR Hub is emerging as a key catalyst for growth and innovation in the European tourism sector with the support of the laboratories of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (TIDES), The International Centre for Tourism Economics Studies (CISET) and Haaga Helia and the 84 service providers we currently have in Euro-emotur.

A Strategic Calendar for Growth
As part of the event, the EUROEMOTUR strategic training calendar was presented, a programme designed to equip SMEs with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve their goals. The programme, which includes a series of workshops, seminars and networking events, will run over the coming months.

A Continuous Commitment to SMEs
The EURO-EMOTUR Consortium reiterates its commitment to the support and empowerment of SMEs in the European tourism sector. Through the EURO-EMOTUR Hub, the organisation makes available to companies a wide range of resources and services, fostering collaboration and innovation as fundamental pillars for success in the global market.
